A rare find – an elegant traditional chalet, full of character set in its own private grounds
Originally built by Countess Kinsky as a family home, Chalet La Norjeanne is a rare find – an elegant traditional chalet, full of character set in its own private grounds. Subsequent generations of the family have thoughtfully combined its antique charm and cosiness with all the modern comforts you would expect from a luxury chalet in Verbier. It sleeps up to 14 guests, is staffed by a professional chef plus two chalet hosts and is available to rent throughout the winter ski season as well as in the summer.
We are passionate about our food, using the finest fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared & beautifully presented.
With a full day of skiing ahead of you breakfast is very important and with our large selection of both ‘Continental’ and ‘English’ style offerings you’ll be set for the day.
Come back from a hard day on the slopes to afternoon tea with one of our chef’s freshly baked cakes or patisseries.
Our dinner menus are designed to be satisfying without being excessively rich. We are happy to tailor our menu to suit the tastes of your party and can cater for vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements.
Before dinner, we serve drinks and canapes by the fire followed by a three course dinner with unlimited complementary house wine, fresh coffee and chocolates.
We also have a list of vintage wines, champagne and port which can be purchased from our cellar.
Wednesday is the staff day off. Continental breakfast and afternoon tea will be laid out and we are happy to make a booking for you at one of the many restaurants in town.
