Private Luxury Chalets in Switzerland

All you need for your stay

Top quality equipment is available in every resort from a number of equally adequate hire shops, most with English speakers and very friendly staff. The hire shop’s staff will be able to fit your skis, boards and boots correctly for your level of skiing and boarding, so you don’t need to worry.

Skis, snowboards and boots

New equipment is often available at the start of the season, and it is maintained by the hire shops to make sure it stays in the best condition for you throughout the winter. Skis and snowboards to suit all abilities are available.

Lift passes

All resorts have similar lift pass systems. Each resort has their own local area ski pass, but those in the Four Valleys allow you to upgrade with a half- or full-day pass for the days on which you want to venture further afield. The local area passes are generally adequate for anyone who is in ski school, or for whom trekking over to other resorts is not in the holiday agenda.

All your equipment and your lift passes can be pre-ordered and paid for in advance, and be ready and waiting for you in resort for pick up, making your first day or two in resort hassle free. Some hire shops will be happy to arrange delivery directly to your chalet and at the end of your holiday can collect them from you, trouble free. Ask about hire when you book your holiday, and your property owner can probably give you the most up-to-date advice.
